Our approach
Privacy requirements depend on what a product actually does. Orvaden's approach is to collect only what a feature genuinely requires, use local storage where practical, and explain any connected service before it is introduced.
Local-first software can reduce unnecessary exposure and give users direct control over their working data. It does not remove the need to protect exported files, device backups, or information shared with other services.
What Orvaden does not do
- Orvaden does not sell personal information from its current products.
- Current products do not use advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Orvaden does not claim ownership of records users create in its applications.
Current products
The current Orvaden Check build is local-first. Inspection records, schedules, photos, signatures, and profile information remain on the device unless the user chooses to export, save, or share them. Orvaden does not have access to that working data unless the user voluntarily sends information to support or shares it through a third-party service.

Orvaden Brief is in development. Product-specific privacy information will be published before release and will reflect the application's final data handling.
Exports and third parties
When a user exports or shares a report, backup, photo, or other file, the selected destination, storage provider, email service, device backup service, or recipient controls what happens to that copy. Users should protect exported information according to their organization's requirements.
Support communications
If you contact Orvaden, we receive the information you choose to provide in your message. Do not send confidential operational records, photographs, signatures, or backup files unless they are necessary and you are authorized to share them.
